The Academy

The Academy was built by Major Ashbury Moreland in the 1880’s as Moreland Park Military Institute, a private school. This military school relocated to College Park & evolved into Woodward Academy. Next, the Academy contained Brooks Botanical Blood Bombs, which was created during prohibition to develop cough medicine with a high content of alcohol. Next, it was the Masonic Temple and now contains office space.
